BBC Proms
On July 20th Mark conducts the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra at this year’s BBC Henry Wood Proms. They play the Variety Suite for Orchestra by Shostakovich and Walton’s Symphony No 1 and together with the pianist Nicholas McCarthy, Ravel’s Piano Concerto for the Left Hand. The performance can be heard live on BBC Radio 3 and watched on BBC4.
